Juicy Ring

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

I saw this ring while I was shopping the other day and totally fell in love with it.  I’m usually not into rings but this one really caught my eye. I like how different this ring is and the combination of different styles.  I want to get it so bad so I’m definitely going to save up for it. :]

Cute Tee Shirts

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

These shirts are cute, cool and everyone wants to wear them!!! These
fab shirts are from Crooked Monkey. The letters are big, bold, and
bright, that’s the rule I follow! They come in many colors and even have messages about recycling and “going green.” Some people think that recycling and being good to the environment is boring but not these shirts they have cute sayings and adorable pictures. Where can you find them? In the Shop Like Anna boutique, of course!

There are more tees you can find in the SLA store that are very different and cool. I get a lot of people asking ‘what does that mean?’ and saying ‘I want one!’ They are tees from Lotus House Tee Co. There are many shirts with Mandarin characters that have different meanings like “Luck,” and “Strength,” and come in different colors including metallics. They are also good to the earth because they are made out of bamboo! They are so cute I want them all!!!!! Check it out: Cute Tees Here!

Comfortable Shoes

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

These shoes are amazing, cute, and most importantly,
comfortable. The brand “Born” (www.bornshoes.com) is the best brand ever if you want a good, comfy
brand. I wear my Born’s every where! And I get a lot of compliments on them. There
are different styles that you can get from sandals all the way to boots. Great for fall! Another brand that is comfortable that you all already know is Ugg Australia. You usually wear these shoes in the winter for super comfort and warmth (like Ugg boots!) Now that I’ve shared my favorite picks, you can tell me about yours in the blab or leave a comment for me!

What NOT To Wear!

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Some people you see in stores are trying to bring back some old looks but as
you can see no one wants these old looks back! Number one, a bandana on the ankle,
(gross!), leg warmers…N.O., big hats, and thick colorful belts. These styles
have the word NO written all over them! If you see these styles write
about it in the blab section! I’ll see them don’t worry. As along as you know
what not to wear!

Back To School Shoes

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Even though I’m going to miss taking it easy and not having to deal with homework, I’m going back to school in a couple of days. Last week my mom took me shopping to get new school shoes (which made me feel better about going back to school!), and I saw sooo many shoes I liked it was hard to deicide which ones I liked best. Here are just a few really cute back to school shoes I saw, comment to let me know which ones are your favorites!

Love these!

Fun Socks

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

This year I will be attending a private school, and like most private schools, the students are stuck wearing boring uniforms.  My uniform consists of pants or a spilt skirt, a collared shirt, knee high socks and dress shoes.  It is hard to look different and be unique when everyone is wearing the same thing1  One fun way to separate yourself from everyone else it to get fun knee high socks with a bunch of crazy prints and patterns.  I picked up of socks made by Juicy from Nordstrom this summer, and I can’t wait to wear them once school starts!

School Is Here!

Monday, August 11th, 2008

School is here already!  The new fashions, the awesome shoes, the colorful
socks, the beautiful notebooks, the neon pencils, and the coolest book covers
ever.  This is all about school!  All of us grade schoolers wish it was still
summer, but for others they’re excited for high school and college.  On thing I
like the most about school is getting supplies, finding who’s in my
class, who my teacher is, and seeing my friends.  Welcome back school!  For now…

Family Reunion

Monday, August 11th, 2008

In July I went to my first family reunion in Lake Geneva. It was great! Now,
all of you that are reading this don’t know how many cousins and aunts and
uncles that I have, there were a LOT of people! They’re really nice but the greatest of all…….THEY’RE
CRAZY. If u go on YouTube.com and you look up “Geneva Cooler,” yea that’s my
cousin!!!! It was the best time if my life there were family members from
Michigan, Arizona, and around Chicago. We partied every night but the bad
part is we only stayed for 3 days.  The last day was the best of all of the
three days. But when we left it was hard, I missed them like crazy and
I kept thinking, “When will I see all of them again?” But I will remember those were
the best three days of my life!!

Getting Together

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Want to hang out with your friends but you just don’t know what to do?! Well here are
some tips! After sports practice (I play soccer!) call them to hang out at your house and watch a
movie.  After a long week at school and you haven’t have any time
with your friends, do something that’s really fun over the weekend that you haven’t done in really long time or have a sleepover and do spa night!

Now here’s tips on doing cool ideas like spa night. Spa night is when you do each others nails, put facial masks on, and of course, putting cucumbers on your eyes!

Here some other ideas you could do on a sleep over: fun night, swim night, and feast night these are all fun
ideas that you and your friends might do when you want to get together. Post some comments on things you might think are fun to do when you get together with your friends!

California Vacation

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

I just recently came back from a trip to California. It was so much fun!! We stayed at a pretty hotel called the St. Regis. The St. Regis had a beach right across the street and a very nice pool, so whenever my family and I got bored we could go swimming at either.  We weren’t in the hotel during the day very often between going shopping, going to Universal Studios, and going to the San Diego Zoo. There was good shopping in California.  My favorite part of the shopping was finding the cute, small botiques with unique stuff. A couple of boutiques my family and I went to are Novecento and La Diva. I absolutely loved Universal Studios. I didn’t expect the rides to be very good, but I loved every ride we went on. I also liked how crazy everything was decorated at Universal. When I went to the San Diego Zoo, I was surprised at how nice a zoo could be. At first I wasn’t enjoying myself because it was very hot walking around, but once I saw the cute animals (espcially  the pandas!) I started feeling better. I wish the trip would have lasted longer!! :]
